Pricing · 8 tiers
Every app. Every feature. Every tier.
Tiers differ only on seats, monthly credits, queue priority, and storage — never on capability. Solo gets the same Draw engine, the same Dolly, the same revision mode as Broadcaster.
Free options work until they don't. Eight paid subscriptions, eight contexts, eight invoices — or one project file. The cheap option costs you time. The expensive option costs you twice. We built the third one.
Trust & Security
Payments are secured by Stripe
Secured by Stripe
Every checkout, subscription, and payment method runs on Stripe — the payments platform trusted by Amazon, Shopify, and Slack.
PCI DSS Service Provider Level 1
Stripe is certified at the highest payment-card-industry compliance tier, audited annually by an external QSA.
256-bit TLS encryption
Every byte that crosses the wire is encrypted with TLS 1.2 or higher. Card numbers are tokenised in your browser before they ever leave your device.
We never see your card
Card details go directly from your browser to Stripe via Stripe Elements. They never touch our servers, our database, or our logs.
Read the full Stripe security overview at stripe.com/docs/security. StoryboardCanvas does not store card numbers or CVCs at any point. Payment-method management, refunds, and invoices live inside the Stripe-hosted Customer Portal.

Seats · plainly
What a seat costs, per month
Every plan includes its seats in the base price, and every self-serve tier from Solo up can add extra seats at its own flat monthly price per seat — billed when you add one, removable at the end of the billing period you've already paid for.
| Plan | Included seats | Extra seat / month | Extra seat / month (annual) | Max seats |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hobbyist | 1 | Upgrade to Solo | — | 1 |
| Solo | 1 | £19 / mo — per seat | £15 / mo — per seat | 3 |
| Team | 3 | £15 / mo — per seat | £12 / mo — per seat | 10 |
| Studio | 6 | £12 / mo — per seat | £10 / mo — per seat | 25 |
| Agency | 15 | £10 / mo — per seat | £8 / mo — per seat | 50 |
| Network | 30 | £8 / mo — per seat | £6 / mo — per seat | 100 |
| Enterprise | 75 | Custom — contact sales | — | 150 |
| Broadcaster | Unlimited | Custom — contact sales | — | Unlimited |
add a seat → billed pro-rata on your next invoice · remove a seat → it stays usable until the period you paid for ends
Credits · the price list
Where your credits go
Every AI action shows its price before you click, charges only on success, and quick chat is micro-billed from a quarter of a credit. This list is generated from the same billing table the app charges from — it can't drift.
Chat with Dolly (or any specialist)
from ¼ crQuick questions are micro-billed by what the turn actually uses — a one-sentence answer is ¼ credit, never more than 4.
Agent mode — live answers + proposed changes
from ¼ to 5 crDolly queries your real project data and proposes changes behind your approval. Simple lookups micro-bill; full multi-step turns cap at the listed price.
Script room AI (rewrite, dialogue, coverage…)
2–5 crOver a hundred screenwriter actions — punch up a scene, tighten dialogue, continuity passes, coverage reports.
Full-script AI breakdown
15 flat crYour whole screenplay tagged into the 12 industry categories in one pass — flat fee no matter the page count (single scenes are 5).
AI shot suggestions
5 / scene crCoverage plans, framing, lenses and movement per scene — billed only for scenes that succeed.
Storyboard frame & key-art generation
30 crA full locked-style frame, poster, or concept render — with the on-model quality check included. Inpaint edits are the same 30.
AI Style Sync (lock your look)
14 crLocks an artist's reference bible into a reusable style. Re-syncing an unchanged bible is free.
Dolly reviews your boards
8 crDirector's notes on your actual frames — composition, continuity, coverage (per-frame continuity checks are 4).
Morning briefing & dashboards
2–3 crThe self-checked daily risk briefing and dashboard AI summaries.
Voice & audio (TTS, voice memos, transcription)
2–5 crCast voice memos and read-throughs from 2; voice-to-script transcription at 5.
Screenplay translation
40 crA full screenplay translated with industry formatting preserved — 17 languages.
Dolly reads the web for you
2–3 crAgent-mode page reads and web searches, priced per lookup — she only reaches for the web when the answer isn't in your project.
What a real month looks like
Three projected months, priced line by line — so you can match your workload to a tier before you commit.
A 90-page indie feature — pre-production month
≈ 1,609 credits — inside Solo's 2,000/month.
A commercial campaign — 3 boards, heavy image iteration
≈ 4,485 credits — that's Team territory (5,500/month).
A writers' room — scripts first, boards later
≈ 540 credits — Hobbyist's 700 covers a light month; Solo gives headroom.
The Promise
The price you join at — your project keeps for life.
Every tool in your stack has been bought, hiked, or paywalled. We built StoryboardCanvas because we couldn't watch another director get rugged. Profit-funded, not VC-funded — so the price you sign up at is the price your project keeps. Every quality-of-life upgrade ships to every tier, retroactively. The features in your plan today are the features in your plan tomorrow.
